Job description


As Business Development Executive you will be responsible for the full sales cycle of key accounts.

 

You will need to be well-connected in the real estate and property technology markets and have experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS). Leveraging your large personal business network, you will establish and develop trusted advisor-level relationships with the executives of large property management firms.

 

Your principal remit will be to drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring and developing new business. You will build a sales pipeline for prospects and work closely with partners.

 

You will maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competing offerings and market share of different services and solutions.

 

Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain access to key business decision makers and generate C-level contacts by networking across key states.
  • Create and execute a strategic sales territory/account plan for your book of business.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales and profitability quotas.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors’ activities, positioning and pricing and develop effective approaches for winning against them.
  • Demonstrate commercial agility and acuity for diagnosing the prospective clients’ business needs and effectively communicating the platform’s value proposition.
  • Manage the overall relationship and communication with key accounts. Have full understanding of their business models, application landscape and how solutions deliver value.


Your profile

  • 7+ years in the property management or PropTech industry.
  • Extensive experience in business development; relationship building & advanced closure; and driving key account sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.
  • Significant business relationships and personal network of senior industry leaders in the property management industry.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customers’ business needs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including presenting on general and industry-specific topics.
  • Hunter mentality with the ability to farm existing accounts.
